What matters in Broward County

Broward County has tight city blocks, gated communities, tall buildings, heavy tree cover, canal systems, wetlands, mangrove land, pine flats, and busy roads. A missing pet may cross a canal, slip behind homes, or move into a small wooded edge that is hard to see from the ground.

The same density can limit a drone. Airports, heliports, buildings, people, traffic, private land, and small launch areas may force a tighter plan or make a drone the wrong tool. We check the exact location first and tell you the truth before you pay.

Normal drive estimate: About 45–110 minutes to central service points. This is not a promised arrival time. Traffic, weather, airspace, crew status, and the exact address can change it.

Local conditions

A city name is not enough

Canals and waterways

Water can change a pet’s route. A drone may help check visible banks and open edges, but it cannot see through water or heavy cover.

Busy airspace

Fort Lauderdale and nearby cities have airports and other controlled areas. A safe and lawful plan must be checked before dispatch.

Traffic and bridges

A normal drive range does not promise arrival. Current traffic and the exact city can add time.

A sighting or recovery is not promised. Thermal cannot see through roofs, walls, thick trees, or deep brush. Hot ground, rain, wind, airspace rules, people below, and land access can also limit a search.

Clear answers

Questions about a search in Broward County

Can you search near an airport?

Sometimes, but not every address or time is workable. We check the map pin, airspace, and safe launch area before recommending a flight.

Will a canal block the search?

A canal can change where a pet may travel. We may check visible banks and nearby open ground, but water, trees, and private access can limit the plan.

Can thermal see into a home or garage?

No. Thermal cannot see through roofs, walls, closed garages, thick trees, or deep brush.

How do you work in a dense area?

We use a smaller safe search area, check airspace and people below, and tell you when ground searching or another service is a better fit.
